Lexicon Omegea USB interface - DRIVERS REALLY BUGGY on PC

this drivers and driving me crazy - it crashes all the time - sounds like garage - anyone else having this problem

this soundcard i use for DJin out but i cant risk LIVE crashing at the club
is there a solution to this

what did you try so far?
did you raise the sample buffer size? did you turnoff virus software? did you turn off networking, wireless adaptor?

i used to work in a music retail shop, and i can honestly say that the lexicon omega is the biggest peice of shit on the market.

don't do it. Know 4 people who did, 3 of whom are now using other interfaces.

..sorry to say this but:
I never had problems with the omega, it works perfect even on linux, but i know some guys who bought a newer version and this "markII" drivers are buggy, but these newer omegas work with the older driver.
Once again: mine is working flawlessly with live, cubase, energyxt and so on, both on xp and linux2

Got rid of mine, had to spend half hour just trying to get XP to recognise it each time I wanted to use it (kind of kills your motivation).

Think in all I only use it twice in two months.

Also where it says it has headphone outs, don't be fooled into thinking this means two seperate outputs, one for cueing one for master... it just passes the master onto the headphone output... not very clear in the product blurb.
