I'm gonna be a pretentious art snob for a minute and comment on this. :D

While the piece is lacking in depth and exploration of extended themes and ideas, it does elicit a response. The sounds you hear in the piece, however, are only pleasurable in their context: a woman simulating a sex act on a microphone. If only audio were provided to an observer, and the clip was entitled, "microphone feedback in a broom closet", nobody would care. Perhaps it is the intention of the artist to explore how what we see affects what we hear.

Or it could be a woman giving a microphone a BJ.

hooray for pretentious art snobs!

IMO, microphone feedback in a broom closet holds more artistic integrity than some tart mouthfucking a mic. it sounds a little more thought out than an excuse to show off an unrelated "talent"

yes, I would classify it as art, and this discussion is proof. anything that elicits a response can be art.

doesn't mean its still not shit though.

the WORST "art" piece I've ever seen was called defiled.

it was 2 files (the kind you shape metal with) sitting on a shelf. that was it.
