nice track Paris!
Love the guitar sound, are playing in direct with fx/plug-ins or are you mic'ing an amp?? it sounds great!

I like the ping pong at the end, too.

thanks buddy, i really appreciate the kind words. I mic-ed up the guitar for this one and just layered it a bit. It's always so frustrating getting a guitar to really punch and kick through. I also just got the amplitube duo 2 with my motu ultralite, which i've been messing around with but it sounds a little thin with distortion. Do you us and amp modeling software?

Yeah, it's always a challenge to get the guitars perfect...
I haven't tried mic'ing my amp yet, but I think it's time to try.
I usually record at night and have no headphones jack on my amp :(
I have a mid stack Crate amp with excellent crunch factor though, and an Apex condenser mic that should work well together.
I've been using a Fast Track Pro and experimenting with Ableton's audio effects so far, and I usually end up using some combination of Saturator, Flanger, and Reverb.
I would love to get a Line6 or Amplitube full version though, they look real good!
I'm pathetic when it comes to using plug-ins, I really have a lot to learn in that department yet. hehe

I think you got yours down pretty good by mic'ing, I think I really will try mine today!

Maybe I will try out a Vs. scenario and post it for feedback later this weekend...

i like it..
at first it reminded me of early cure and joy division and then started to sound more like m83.
of course i would like to hear vocals in it.

i have been listening to alot of music like this lately but none has vocals.
its good though..
the crash sounds familiar something on the lines of ez drummer.. (dont tell me what it is.. i like it better when people don't reveal every aspect of production).
