I posted this link in a thread in the Bugs and Problems section that went a bit off-topic. Anyway, I thought I'd post it here where it's more apropo...
This is a recording I did at home of set I prepared for a gig at the Post Rien festival in Montreal in September. I didn't feel comfortable using the record function in an actual live situation as I've had it crash my computer once or twice when the cpu load got really heavy. I did this a couple of days before the actual gig. Sort of a test run I guess.
It's all done in Live on a G4 400 powerbook with a Peavey 1600x. I used one actual full song file around the middle there somewhere. I usually like to do that to give myself a breather and organize the fx and stuff.
Includes samples from Donna Summer, Faust, Throbbing Gristle, Tackhead and more!

haha! exactly right. people like you are forbidden access to acappellas dammit!geargasm wrote:just curious, what release is that on, or is it not available to people like me? (I really like the set BTW)
i think it's on a single or something. i downloaded it in mp3 form from some file sharing thingy like audiogalaxy. it shouldn't be too hard to find i don't think. acappella versions of that kind of stuff are all over the place. if you want it on cd just check the single. it's probably on there.
glad you liked the set!
