Burikusu!!! - 2080

Post by Claes » Fri Nov 21, 2008 10:34 am

Our debut album named "2080" is out now on CD & digital. I reckon it could be interesting for you guys to hear what kind of music some of us at abe HQ is doing, and it's quite heavy on warper abuse and live-isms too. Besides just being generally brilliant of course..

More info on the official website and there are some tracks to listen to on myspace.

Nice stuff!
That song War Stories... Never thought I'd ever run across a genre that can only be described as a mix of Kraftwerk and Street Fighter :D

8-bit I think. That would either be the nintendo or the arcade (commodore) version.
Or did you put some redux on the Sega version?

yeah, there's a whole forum of them.... :o

as for the sample, there's always the possibility that it wasn't sampled at all but rather performed by members of the band themselves. after all, me and timmy got to know each other by both impersonating timmy from south park at a music festival camp, loudly. memory escapes me, but I assume chewbacca grunts were exchanged, analyzed in detail and the having the technique behind them discussed and refined. timmy's the only person I've met who can do a proper convincing reproduction of a speech synthesizer. Such a meta-emulator...
