HELP ME CHOOSE MY "ARTIST" NAME

I an brainstorming those days, as I'm workin on tracks to be produced and released with the help of god.

I'm used to call myself (as an electronic artist) MONSTRE JUMO
this name has a 6-7 years history, is related to a strange dream I had.

translated in english that would be tween monster or twinn monster (jumo is not the good one, in real french it would be monstre JUMEAU)

But since 6 month approx, I tend to use SUPAMONSTA as a name... that was designed to better fit my groovy electro stuff, and was theoretically better for international purposes...

WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THIS, YOU INTERNATIONAL FRIENDS?

MONSTRE JUMO ?
SUPAMONSTA ?

Why to go from original and interesting to boring and somewhat irritating. 1+ for Monstre Jumo as well.

Stick with MONSTRE JUMO.

Jumo is already taken, and Supamonsta will probably end up sounding dated.

Another +1 for Monstre Jumo - it's unusual and interesting, and Jumo sounds like a cross between Jumbo and Juno, which is good - keep it!

You're right, supamonsta is a bit fierce and "american pseudo-gangsta" sounding...

Yes Patch, I'm french. It's funny you think about "Méchant", because I got a side project (totally amateur, and a bit abandonned those times), that is industrial-electro-metal and that I called "Monstre Jumo Méchant" !!!

I'm really happy to see the most of you do think monstre jumo is interesting and original, I was afraid that it could sound too much weird for non french people.

But I guess now that weirdness can be a good thing

Monstre Jumo is sweet. I can't really see you using this name if you should slow things down over the years and start doing touching ballads and stuff, but it's cool.

As long as you don't steal my rights to "DJ Potato Salad," do as you will.

but prince was Prince before becoming "the love symbol"...

If no one is able to spell my name/sumbol, as I am still a totally unknown electroboy... I won't last or even get a booking

And I believe my musical destiny not to be so huge, if musical destiny I have !!! so I don't need a symbol for now. When I'm internationnaly well-known...

what about Potato Monstre Salad?

do you feel this name a bit "agressive" ? (but that's cool to me, I like metal hardcore as I like electro and folk-rock music)
