Must be fun for Ableton to have such an increase in their sales. It's a shame, though, that none of these persons that buy a 400 Euro software bother to read the manual... Seems rather strange, actually.
Is it just me...?

Is it just me...?
I probably don't come across as one of the people with a whoopping post count. But it has struck me the last week how many newly registered people are asking awfully simple questions.

Re: Is it just me...?
Ableton doesn't require people to register their software in order to post on the forum. So it could be any number of reasons that there is an increase in basic questions on the forum. Hopefully it's not just because a bunch of warez kids made Live the flavor of the month.Lo-Fi Massahkah wrote:I probably don't come across as one of the people with a whoopping post count. If I had a nickel for all the times I've wanted to post an RTFM or 'search the forum' or this picture, I'd be a very rich man...
I really love that picture, though. Rule number one of using the internet..!

Asshats.
I hope that isn't the case - seriously this shits me ?
If you're the sort of turd that uses warez that's fine... go enjoy working in your own stench. Just don't display the moral ethics of a gnat by thinking that entitles you to use the COMPANY FORUM of the cracked software you're using. - the irony isn't lost on me though ...sadly
It's my biggest gripe with the Propellerheads board if you use a crack hey it's your life but don't expect help from people who've actually bought the friggin software and supported the comapany.
OK VILE RANT OVER !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My aren't the wings of butterflies beautiful and do they not make wonderful perturbations.....
The demo along with these forums are available free to anyone that has the internet. Warez copy's typically do infact contain manuals. Calling noobs pirates seems like jumping to conclusions to me.
(Flamer disclaimer) Yes, I did just recently purchase my copy at the local L&M after seeing a crack running on a buddies comp. Glad to be a new member!
cheers.
