shuffle beat

hi was wondering what time signature would be used for a suffle beat. at the moment i have it set to 4/4. Also what setting would you use for Record Quantization?

jk. 6-8 or 12-8 is typical altho 4-4 will cover it.

unless you want severe shuffle, 4/4 is fine, but make sure you adjust all clip grooves to 1/16th, and then raise the global groove to around 50.
