Zavvi have the only decent high-street vinyl selection (got a Michael McDonald album last week for €3

)
I hope these guys weren't supplying that portion of their stock. Tempted to buy up the few deals I passed up last week just in case...

WOW all these massive companies are buckling, and the economy hasn't changed too much, I mean compared to Zimbabwe this is just a little dent.

I'm amazed that the collapse of Entertainment UK has caused so many problems, or at least that they haven't managed to work round the problem. The stock will have been manufactured and is sitting somewhere so I can't figure out why the manufacturers haven't managed to re-route it through other distributors.
They really need to sort something out quickly or the knock on effect could take some retailers under as well - most of whom do a large chuck of their business at this time of year.

Heard that Pinnacle Distribution have gone under as well.
Apple iMac (OSX 10.5.2). Ableton Live 5.2.2 with Operator.

Yep Pinnacle went into administration today. They are one of, if not the biggest independant distributor in the UK which will cause big repercussions. Seems like retail is starting to disappear with increasing rapidity.
