I've spent the weekend tracking drums for 3 tracks, and as I've fallen in love with Live, I wanted to use that as my tape-recorder. (we're talking 12 mics total on a full drum kit)
It wasn't as easy as I'd imagined, though. So I'm curious - how do you guys work with multiple takes in many-mics situations? And with comps (combined takes)?
To be specific, I was looking for a way to be able to solo/mute og record enable multiple tracks at once.. - this was especially necessary as I had to duplicate all 12 tracks to be able to record another take.
Share your thoughts on the subject (even if that means sticking with Logic for tracking).
