Live and Logic

I'd like to first curse apple for making rewire so difficult with logic!

Here's my problem. So I have multiple instruments routed from live to logic in different aux tracks. but when have any live instrument selected to play something on my midi keys, it plays ALL the instruments in live. during playback, everything works fine, it plays whats there. I just cant figure out how to isolate one live instrument when playing on my keys.

any thoughts?

Make sure that the different LIVE instruments listen to different MIDI channels. Otherwise, they'll play everything that comes in.
