exporting final song? HELP!
exporting final song? HELP!
I have been djing with live for 3 years and just started producing and sorry for the nub question... But:
As soon as I have everything laid out in arrangement view I hit (apple) +A to select it all then how do I finalize it or export it to a Wav?
I went to : File- Export Audio/Video and the exported track has no audio on it,
I must be overlooking something but can't figure it out.
Thanks-

Funnily enough, I don't know if there's slicker way to do this, but I extend the loop bracelets to cover the whole length of the area I want mix down. As you're starting the export, you can check the length of the export from the bottom of export dialogue sheet that appears as you choose export audio/video from file menu.cdebari wrote:I have been djing with live for 3 years and just started producing.

What I do is this:
Starting from the tail end of the track, highlight everything. In one sweeping motion, start highlighting from the Master track at the bottom, all the way up to the first track at the top, then swing left, highlighting the whole thing from the beginning.
Once it's all highlighted, you can do the Exporting process.

the manual explains it pretty well, but all you need to do is extend the arrangement loop brace to where you want song to end, including any silence you want at the end(you can now click at the end to see the length in the bottom info window)
now click in the center of the loop brace to turn it black. hit (shift-apple-R) and you'll get the export dialog box, set it up how you want, hit enter, voila!
