Yeah, I don't get these "check out our bleeding edge futuristic alien technology that has never been seen before but we can't get a couple steaming videos to work off our server" companies. This is what youtube is for and they should use it.

Seriously, I've seen this shit so many times. You totally hit the nail on the head with this one, too. I don't get it. We've spent 4 years and countless man hours of genius programmers to make this incredible synthesizer to blow your mind, but nobody took the time to figure out how to host a fucking video on our website.

Even more annoying are softsynth developers that can't get their streaming demo song audio player to work properly. 32 songs and none of them load, or just when you hit the back or next button after waiting a long ass time you hear 2 seconds of the song and oops back to buffering cause you switched tracks.

But nothing is more frustrating then when you experience these same problems trying to stream porn. :x

Has anybody told them we are past autumn 2008?
Actually winter officially starts Dec.21. And it will be released before then.

And by owning cameleon, you can get alchemy for 125 bucks, which I personally feel is extremely generous of them.

yeah you could theoretically make an entire song using nothing but sounds derived from hardcore (possibly illegal) porn. Thats what I would do, at any rate
that's been around in Meta-Synth and other apps for what, ten years now?
For that matter, it has been around in cameleon (alchemy's predecessor) for 5 years or whatever as well -- I don't think they're claiming it is a feature original to alchemy.

Youtube is mono only, right (and not that great audio quality anyways)? These videos are demonstrating stereo stuff all over the place, that would have sounded horrible and non-representative on youtube. Actually, I can imagine that it might be better to have them not load than to try to show off the synth with youtube-level audio quality. Anyways, they loaded fine for me.

not at all. You can get great sounding stereo audio out of youtube these days. And besides, vimeo was suggested as well: HD stereo embeddables for pennies.

I have to say this synth looks to be an absolute must buy.. It is feeking awesome.. I really like how they have taken some of the coolest features from other synths and programs and incorporated them into Alchemy.. This is gonna be a fantastic tool to have in your armory... Importing audio into your synth engine is something I really got into when I owned my Kurzweil K2000 back in the day.. I also use Cameleon, Camelphat and Camelspace. The guys at Camel Audio are also very cool dudes, and their support for both customers and product is ace. This at 99 euros even in these hard times is an total no brainer for me..

Can't wait.
