Hi, Putting some beats over some music is not a remix!
Better chop some stuff up make fatt loops and a nice arangement.
Work on the bass, lead and theme etc. etc.

Thanks! The guys asked for the track throughout the whole song. Also, its a loop, the actual song varies much more.

Yes I know but I would go for short fast dynamic loops instead of long and boring ones. Nothing negative here! Because I like the idea!!!
Then work on all other parts so you all hear them! And create a flow.w.w.w.w
HipHop needs a good beat and bass they are the fundamentals of your song! Then it's time to blend some of the classical stuff in on the right spots!!!!

Right... i don't see how that would be possible when they've requested that line throughout.

Maybe create two versions and try where the lyrics work best on.
Listen to the Out Cast for arrangements and Roots Manuva for beats and bass. Sometimes you have to convince people otherwise.
