+1, I got mine some time back for $150. it's pretty fantastic. not the best thing I ever heard of course but it certainly beats the crap out of most soft filters. I use it a lot to run my keyboards through to design drum sounds. a simple white noise through it you can use the band pass and the white noise to make some great high hat and crashy sounds. sample up a few things and then layer them. good times.
It was as if someone shook up a 6 foot can of blood soda and suddenly popped the top.

Man, some awesome suggestions. Soundtoys seem to be hot, with a price to match.

Everything I read and hear about the UAD is that its the bomb, except that its DSP gets eaten up quick!

But any word on LiquidMix, thoughts on its filter, eq abilities. Can it distort nicely too?

I'm a laptop musician, which really dampens the UAD cause its a pricey upgrade to have the xtreme pack.

Aiiiie. Exciting stuff though!

Check out U-He's new UHBIK. The man that brought you a little synth called Zebra. You might have heard it mentioned around these parts by paper bag jim before he was arrested for rustling.

There is a very nice filter plugin as part of the bundle and he is doing a special pre launch deal on them at the mo. It sounds great and best of all different.
