Recording EFX 1000 effects in 7? Possible?

Recording EFX 1000 effects in 7? Possible?

I just ordered a Pioneer EFX 1000 and I have a Firewire 410. I was wondering if it is possible to record the effects in real time in side of live?

I see there is a preset "external effect" in the effects rack but I have no experience with it.

Can any EFX users shed some light on this?
GEAR- Public library computer limited to 1 hour per day

Just set up an audio track with the input coming from the efx.
