rewire and midi

Having troubles with live/reason via rewire, after a while midi in reason stops working.
PowerBook 400, OS 9.1, Evolution MK225, Emagic MT4
It happens with the Evolution USB Midi driver as well as with hooking up to the MT4...
Perhaps a rewire problem, waiting for Live 2, but have to do my job...

Is the sleep on your powerbook set to on ?
Is run midi in background ticked in oms ?
