Record Midi Output - possible?

Post by Burt » Sat Nov 27, 2004 6:07 pm

I've read the manual but no info about whether this is possible:

Create a Midi track. Create a simple 2 bar clip. Insert a softsynth as plug-in (say Pro 53) and step write a simple melody. Then insert RANDOM / CHORD / SCALE Midi Plug-ins before the softsynth. Choose some presets to get random chords fixed to a particular scale.

Now - I want to RECORD the Midi OUT data POST-plug-ins. ie: I want to be able to record the random chords as a Midi file clip so I can then pick out a nice 2 bar section and then be able to use this to duplicate the chords with another sound.

Is this possible???
