Live Suite boxed version...44GB!!

Post by glsimonsen » Sun Dec 21, 2008 6:49 am

The Ableton site says Live Suite boxed version requires 44GB of HD space. Does that all need to be on your boot drive? Can you put any or all of it on an external drive? Thanks for any info.

The majority of this is the Session Drums and EIC 2. Especially Session Drums, they are multisampled and take up the majority of the space required. EIC is also a collection of multisampled instruments.

Live 7 itself, even with the Suite instruments is only 114 MB. (Live 7.0.14)

Leave it on the DVD then it won't take up space on your HD.
You won't be able to n though.
