How to: delete a slot using a controller?

Post by lucstm » Thu Nov 25, 2004 12:03 pm

Hello there!

Does anyone know how to delete a slot without using the computer keyboard?
I use a MIDI controller to control many aspects of Live such as arm, slot select etc... My problem is that once I have recorded something onto one slot I don't seem to be able to delete it unles using the computer keyboard.

Thanks

Luc

hi luc,

i don't think you can map a midi controller to delete a clip

You should however look into midi utilities programs. I'm sure there's one that could possibly listen to a certain MIDI event and map this into a keyboard event. Sorry i have no idea weather such program exists but the concept doesn't seem too complicated. Good luck with everything.
