There is always the manual you can download when you download the VSTi

It simplifies the whole operation.

Inspired by Grappadura's Daft Punk thread, I thought I'd give this a go and it's great... very impressed.

But, while I can get the L/R input mode (Input Mode on button enabled) working fine as shown in the TAL manual page 6 - no problems and sounds great - I have no luck getting the internal VCO to work. If I drop it into a midi track, then midi notes, whether played live or from a clip, don't seem to trigger the TAL internal oscillator, and anyway if it's on a midi track, how would I get the audio modulator routed to it? Thanks for any advice here.

I'm using the VST version on OS X, by the way.

Download the manual it explains it all and even has pictures for those that have difficulty reading. It's located on the same page that you downloaded the vst from

Manual doesn't have pictures for the other mode of usage.

Open up a midi channel and route the midi out to the vocoder on the return track. Also make sure that the input mode is off.

Thanks for reading my question correctly this time - it simplifies the whole operation.

Seriously though, routing works as you suggested - very nice. Cheers.
