Post your set up and your sexy cat...
Are you using the DM2 with Ableton? I have one and I've been looking for good uses for it but haven't found any yet... I'd learn to DJ with it, except that the Mixxx DM2 driver/DM2Midi patch doesn't work.

yeah, drumkat stuff is great. That's actually an anceint DrumKat EZ that I snapped up on ebay. I did the same for the rest of the electronic kit, waiting six months to cobble together a pd 125 mesh snare, vh 11 hihats, a TD12 brain, and a kd-85 mesh kick. It's a nice set up, and much smaller than the full-blown Roland kit with cymbals, "toms", and a rack and junks.bosonHavoc wrote: wow ya little slut thats some shyt!!
i dig the drum set up with the DK10
i have a dk10 too, and love it.
i was thinking of doing something similar by adding a hat and snare but thats a pretty good chunk of change and an EUB has to be my next big purchase.
On the DM2--I got one ages ago when I didn't have many other controllers and was on the student budget. Great $35 controller--the crossfader and transformer buttons are tight. The greatest thing is the DM2midi software (pcs only) by PDoom, which translates the worthless proprietary usb signal into useable midi. His software allows really intense midi control, where any button, scratch wheel, joystick, etc. can control an infinite number of midi commands--I used to have one button reset over sixty things (pans, faders, etc.) with one push--pretty sweet! I guess now that Live allows overlapping midi assignments, its redundant, but it used to be pretty useful.
