merging sets problem

i need to merge two sets so i can launch a drone consisting of four loops of slide guitar at the end of our final song - however...i've dragged the loops into the library, closed that set and dragged them back out into the song set but when i launch them there's a kind of choppiness/pulsing going on that's not there in the original loops ....haven't altered anything and all the parameters look identical...
i've actually got around it by moving the song to the drone but i'm curious as to what might be going on here....thanks in advance for your replies chris..

Well, I take it that's because they've been warped/rewarped as you drag them into the new set. And that is because you have warping on as a default in preferences, and I guess it is set to beat mode, which causes these "pulsing" artifacts when it handles long developing, drone like loops/samples. Just click the clip you have your drone on and switch the warp off.
