Logic 8, Live 7 Rewire Question

Post by nigeljohnson » Sun Dec 07, 2008 2:29 am

2 things:

1) When playing Live instruments in Logic as an External MIDI track, there's alot of latency unless the instrument is also selected in Live to accept MIDI. The result.... only one instrument is played in Logic correctly... the rest have latency.

2) Is there any way Live instruments can be recorded as AUDIO in Logic (without rendering out in Live and importing to Logic)? You'd think this should be possible, but in Logic, I can't select Live as an input in an audio track.

There are several ways to do this.

You could set up a mix bus and route your ReWire Channels to that OR set your ReWire channel output to the track of your choice and render it that way.

Thats all I can think of off the top of my head but I'll revise this if anything else occurs.
