i had been using the fast track pro interface for about 2 months and it worked fine until now that live wont recognize it! i am very technically challenged so maybe there is an obvious solution. i have tried to turn everything off and on again, many times, and unplugging and plugging. can someone please help me?

does your computer/other applications recognize the interface? What computer/operating system do you use? Have you tried reinstalling the latest driver for the Fast Track Pro?

i've gone through some nightmares with my fast track pro. the best ways to fix the issue (on windows xp)
1) sometimes you have to put the computer to sleep, turn the fast track pro off and then back on. then log back into windows and it will
2) i find sometimes if i'm using other USB controllers in conjunction have to get the audio interface recognized first
3) manually uninstall the device from system-->device properties
