Panning A Stereo Track L or R

Post by danny2sday » Tue Jan 13, 2009 2:39 am

So i want to record 2 different amps simultaneously, on a stereo track (intput 1/2) and be able to pan that track left or right, but take both recorded amps with it! As of right now, if you pan it one way or the other it will only take one mic with it, because it is set up to be stereo! The reason i want to do this is so that i can record one performance on guitar running 2 different amps, and pan it left, and then record a second perfomance and pan it right making it stereo! I guess i could just record the two amps on different tracks, but it would be nice to only have 2 tracks instead of 4! Hopefully this makes sense, and i KNOW it's possible, i've done it in Nuendo! Help please!!!
