the whole 'hip hop' misspelling and marketing thing is just condescending.
Being at that design and marketing meeting would have been a blast.
i think i live in the same neighborhood as the design and marketing team.
they also breed pitbulls.
not really a blast.

wow sounds like alot of lowball shit going on over there and I'm not talking about the people making this product, it sounds like alot of the folks are just taking shots at these people. I don't know them and dirty south music is not my cup of tea but if I was them I'd say fuck you to everybody in that thread and just make the damn thing for myself.

btw the more and more I read the specs it sounds like it's competition isn't an mpc but more like the new linndrum that's be out one day, with features like individual sequence length, and all of the realtime features. if they actualy make this thing and cheaper than a mpc 2500 like they say and if it performs well it will be very much an uppercut to the industry.

i'm trying to find somebody to take me to namm so i can get a looksy

What a retarded promo video for that.

The guy kicks over the garbage can => develops a sampler.

retarded promo vids, but yes, hella cool to drop a product like that!

From the specs posted, like 2 headphone outputs, it looks like they've really made a cool, PORTABLE product, for sure.

Next interesting thing: Price point! If it's in the mpc-500 region then it's a REALLY interesting release!

that thread is GREAT!!

Beat Kangs are tools. no price, no real demo, just some asshat with an attitude, seriously clueless. I liked the one comment about letting the product speak for itself, the mpc wasn't a hip hop machine until that community embraced it on its own. 'grillz'... wegro please!!!

hey i'm not saying the product is shit, no one's seen it yet. but you can't argue that they might try to represent themselves a little better. i'm all for the entrepreneurial spirit but a startup, trying to break into hardware no less. would be wise to show a little more tact or proffeshinalizm. they need a website makeover and maybe a PR person. after all, the thang does come loaded with over 3000+ bangin ass soundz! mercy, mercy, mercy.
