Post by tommi_c » Wed Nov 24, 2004 7:38 pm

Hi, I am using cubase SX2 and live 4 in with rewire.
When i come to export my song most of the audio from live is missing, the loops come in intermitantly! What is going on how can i remedy this?
Cheers

Bounce your Live tracks down to Cubase audio tracks before you try to export.

Ok, here is the deal: Load your clips into ram in Live and then do your export. It will work. Alternately, upgrade to CubaseSX 3.0...when I did, I no longer needed load Live clips into ram for the export to work. Live 4.0 + CubaseSX 3.0 = bliss! Also, for those that experienced the buzzing noise problem when Cubase 2.x was put in play mode while rewired to Live, this problem is fixed in CubaseSX 3.0.

How do you bounce ? in cubase, rewire tracks can't record, what I've done is using a separate stereo output on my soundcard going in a stereo input, hardware rewiring, but is there an internal way of doing that ?

cheers

(the tip on using ram is good but I've recorded a drum kit with 5 tracks so it's too much for my RAM)
