Question on buying live

I'm going to purchase copy of Live I'm just wondering however if now is the best time to buy... Is live8 coming soon? If I buy 7 do I get a good deal on buying 8 when it comes out? I've been using the demo and it's great however I don't really have any projects for about a 2 months so would it be best to hold off?

If you want, you can most likely wait and hear what happens from the NAMM show with ableton. The show starts in two days, which is the 15th.

Ableton has hosted upgrade deals before in the past, so I don't see why they would stop now. But in the end, you would be spending more money than what you would be on Live - unless they have a "Buy Lve7 now, get Live8 free" deal.

It's quite possible that Live 8 (or it's succesor) will be announced within the week, so maybe you should wait. Then again, you could be making music now, and you might have some kind of discount/possibly free entry into whatever the hell is coming when it comes...

I'd wait till the end of the week.
