Mac Installers not showing up on Mac DVD on Mac Pro?

This is the strangest thing I've ever seen. I got a new Mac Pro recently, and I'm trying to install Ableton 6 off my install DVD's (the original, factory ones that came in the black box). These DVDs worked just fine on my MacBook Pro - but on my Mac Pro ... when I insert the Install Disk 1 - it only shows the Windows-related files and installers (ie. setup.exe, etc) ... no Mac installers.

If I eject the same DVD, and put it in my MBP - I get the Mac Installer (drag to Applications, etc).

I'm posting this in the forums, too - in hopes to get a resolution. I've rebooted, restarted, and done everything I know to do. The disk itself says:
Live Installation Disk 1

Why not just download the most current version of Live 6 from the Ableton site?
