no need, you can emulate it on your lemur anyways. argggh, if they wouldn't be so expensive, those lemurs ...Machinate wrote:lol! Yes, I can't wait to perform with a table full of ipod touches... oh wait, that would suck. Badly.pepezabala wrote:Hehe, you probably can emulate it with three or for ipodtouchs.
it definitely looks like it - the mpd32 or whatever it's called is ANYTHING but flimsy, so I reckon this will follow in its footsteps.Zerobae wrote:i hope it's not cheap. i want The Live Controller to be built like a tank.
It would appear that Akai is now incapable of making anything small? Like, why the ENORMOUS KNOBS and fat base? These will be three times as big as the laptops they're controlling, hehe.

hell, why not go the whole way? Run Live on its own Linux shell right from the APC hardware and plug a LCD in. You could probably fit most of a macbook in there.Machinate wrote:it definitely looks like it - the mpd32 or whatever it's called is ANYTHING but flimsy, so I reckon this will follow in its footsteps.Zerobae wrote:i hope it's not cheap. i want The Live Controller to be built like a tank.

It is just what i personally always dreamed of!
It looks and feels just gorgeous, nice that Akai now leaked it a few hours before the press release at NAMM, i wouldn't be able to talk about it now if they didn't and it was so hard to not talk about it during the last year :)
Another good thing: there's still so much more news coming today :-)
You talked about the LEDs, actually the LED states are yellow, green, red - for clip present, playing and recording.
