Still too expensive for my wallet though.
It would also be nice if they just made a solid US $ amount.

I just remembered they sell them on some US sites like audiomidi.com and I didn't check to see if the price changed but I am assuming the price won't fluctuate with the exchange rate.

Lemur = $1769 US DOLLARS AND EUROS
Dexter = $1519 US DOLLARS AND EUROS
Stop converting the currency, the digits are the same for both!

Is this actually true and if so does anyone think they did it because of the APC40?

It's still a vastly different product than the APC - I think it'll integrate very well now with max-in-live!

I always saw the Jazzmutant stuff as a luxury. Multi-touch monitors would easily trump them, imo, and aren't too far off.

Luxury is the wrong word. If it is your 24/7 work tool, you can't call it luxury.
Luxury is if you are using one just to illuminate the room.
