Golden Age of computer music?

Post by Benshik » Thu Jan 15, 2009 11:01 pm

The first half of the 2000's saw a rapid growth of music software. Like, at every Namm or musikmesse, something new and exciting was popping out.
In the last 2 years, some people were telling me that the good old days of development were already behind, that nothing new would come.
Well, today i get the feeling that we are entering a more "mature" phase of music technology. Collabs with Share, total control with mac for live, workflow with Live 8, all together, it feels really good and coherent :) Like, Live is getting big, real big!!

What do you guys think? Is Live 8 a turning point for you?
