Multple Live Sets Open Simultaneously

Post by dnuke25 » Fri Jan 16, 2009 9:02 pm

Hey all,

I tried finding an answer to this and I can't seem to find it anywhere. Does anyone know if Ableton 7 is able to open more than one live set at at time. I'm not talking about having different songs in the same live set but opening one live set, then having others open or on "stand by" so I can switch to quickly without having load time. Almost like a playlist....any ideas?

I asked this once. Answer was that on PC this is possible (at least so I've heard) by just running it twice? But on Mac it isn't. Well, it is if you have two different versions of Live installed (for example, save the previous version after a bug update) and you can run those two together. At least this seems to be the case with Live 7 on a mac.
