At least this guy has his own ridiculously awful style not just sash with newer equipment and presets.
how can you be so arrogant to turn down tips from someone who is touring the world and is incredibly successful and you're here posting on a message board at 5:01pm on a Friday?
Maybe because i am an arrogant prick or maybe its because i have been studying music technology since i was 13 and have an MA in it. And i prefer to write music that effects the few on a deeper level than fap around writing cheesetastic wank for the masses of drugfaced nobbles and emotionally retarded cumbunkers that inhabit our world. But its probably the first one

thought you guys knew about music

we do. That's why we're all saying Trevor Horn or Aphex.

I vote Trevor Horn. Only because aphex won't really do it. If he does show up for something like that he'll just spout nonsense anyway.

this thread made me check out Axwell and from the first time listening to him i can tell why millions enjoy his work. but thats not my style really. My vote is for either Timbo or Burial.

im sorry but this means absolutely nothing when it comes to making good music for people to enjoy. Theres always something to learn from experienced (or highly regarded) producers.

I agree, but this guy is about as highly regarded as any of the other eurotrash beep beep bomp musicians. Give me someone like battles, bjork, aphex, squarepusher, the orb, prodigy, orbital, shit even enigma. But not some guy who is writing the same music that has been written for the last 10 years. I cant belive people still listen to this trash.

gotta love that scream. Production technique = record yourself screaming and run it through some old carboot guitar pedal. Now thats my kind of approach. None of this hrs and hrs of tweaking a sound......zzzzzzzzz
