can you say me which kind of external audio interface do you use to put and retreive sound from the mac?

I use a motu traveller interface. The guitarsound is a kombination of guitaramp and the mac/motu.

so ableton does not have the sound from the amp but a direct input from the motu device and you mix the processed sounds together.
tell me if i'm wrong

Hi !

You are right. Amp and interface is mixed in the PA. I seserate the signals out of motu interface; in a stereo out for the guitar - and one stereo out for drumloops. All guitareffects is sent both to amp and interface. I uses some delay in ableton for the sound going to motu interface.

I look forward to Live 8 with a looping software. I loop with Line 6 DL4. Going to both amp and interface and Ableton.
