Hi,
6.0.10 runs perfectly on my OSX Tiger 10.4.11 machine, but Live 7.0.1-7.0.14 crashes during load.
This is the first time I'm trying to run Live7.
During splash screen crashes right after saying
"Creating New Live set..."
An error window pops up but immediately crashes right after, too fast for me to read. The first time it happened it was slow and I caught "Decoding Cache." So I renamed the decoding cache, still no go.
I tried:
renaming decoding cache
removing .prefs
moving VSTs and AUs.
I have 6.0.10 working perfectly.
7.0.14 works perfectly on my Macbook 10.5.6 Leopard.
Any suggestions?
Live7 crashes on load. OSX Tiger. Please help?

Okay I figured it out.
The default Decoding Cache location apparently is on the root drive, but my Live6 Decoding Cache was set to a different drive. So I had put an alias of the Decoding Cache directory in the Ableton directory of my root drive. This was causing a problem. So I renamed the alias, and now it works.
