Don't know exactly how you're playing live or what you're using to trigger clips, but some creative use of your gear will probably solve the problem. Maybe it's just a matter of reducing your screen resolution, getting rid of the GUI elements you don't need while playing live.
Also, depending on what controller you're using, you could add a MIDI track with some clips in it that make your controller's visual feedback more useful.
I need to clearly see what clips are playing!
