.mp3 importing difficulties

I imported a .mp3 drum loop into my ableton live 7..

and there is a consistent brief pause between the beats, obviously destroying the overall rhythm...

i even converted the .mp3 to .aiff and to .wav..but there same problem occured..anyone have any ideas what is wrong here?

Hi Jimmy,

you have to make sure the imported audio file is warped correctly. Please refer to Live´s manual, chapter 9.2 ("Time-Warping Samples") for further details.
