mastering GEAR ....

Post by went to the gypsy » Sun Dec 12, 2004 2:31 am

i'm mastering a CD project done almost exclusively in LIVE, but i have a few tracks that i'm bringing in from other sources that I need raise the bar on, and i'm wondring if i need to by a WAVES bundle to get the job done proper. i need HIGH quality, but i would love to cut a corner (or four) if possible ....

i know you guys got opinions. can you tell me a top-o-the-line mastering program i gotta 'ave??

thanks!!

I use the Waves mastering bundle heavily and love it. I've found no equal but some like things like Vintage Warmer.

???

This thread is from 2004.

Does anyone still think vintage warmer sounds good?
I slipped into a daze, whilst I was there I heard the most startling music, it was at once familiar and alien, reassuring and unsettling.
