[4501] Crash on startup

I get the splash screen, Live goes thru scanning plugins, etc. Once it gets to "Loading the template set...." it gets stuck. Hovering the mouse=pinwheel.

My machine: MacBook Pro (1st gen.)
OS10.4.11
2.16 GHz Intel Core Duo
2 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM

Thanks 4 letting me in on the beta testing. I'm really excited about Live 8!

I've got the same problem.
But I first see the message, that audio is deactivated and i've got to choose an audio-driver in the preferences and then it chrashes

Please open your latest Live 7 version and let me know which MIDI controller surface you have selected in the MIDI section of Live's preferences dialog.

I have "Mackie Control" selected as my control surface in Live 7 (I'm using the BCF2000 in Mackie Control Emulation mode).

Mackie control (BCF2000 in emu mode)
trashed the cfg file and got it going
