Live 8 Beta in action - Thanks for your contributions
Rave, thanks for posting that. I think you are the first person to post any audio from version 8 yet. The vocoder sounds good. I really like the track anyway.
Keep posting audio, and I would also like to hear the new warping feature. Perhaps you could post some audio with an A/B comparison of the new warp mode versus the old.

Here's a live 8 track I've been working on since yesterday that uses:
group tracks (I used 24 tracks on this song- normally I only use upto 12(cos i hate my tracks not fitting on the screen in one go))
random feature on groove quantize.
overdrive (quite subtle use)
new features on operator.(wave drawing + routing)
multiband dynamics.

haven't tried the vocoder yet though

Is that all Live 8?
If not, what other virtual instruments are you using?

We apologise for the delay in service, we are experiencing difficulties due to women being BATSHIT F*CKING MENTAL. Normal service will resume presently.rozling wrote:I have a rough screencast done of that, which I'll upload in an hour or two. Here is a track I just mixed using live 8 and crappy headphones.
Heavy overuse of the new Multiband Dynamics plug, the limiter, the overdrive and the frequency shifter.

An example (of sorts) of the transient warping. I had intended to re-do this so sorry about the frenetic mousing. Hopefully I'll post some more *ahem* original work soon
