So happy an actual noise generator was implemented next to the looped noise.

Just wanted to shower praise where its due.

I can't wait to get at this! I love operator! All I think about all day at work is how sweet Live suite 8 will be. ZOMG!

nice one.

'looped noise' is the old style 'look up table' of random waveforms (pseudo random).

the old flavor cancels with 'utility plug in' phase inversion, the new one doesn't, it's truly random.

For some reason, the words cancellation and phase inversion does not really rhyme with the conclusion that something is truly random(whatever one puts into that word), but I get what you're saying. :) (Sorry for the OT, I just felt a bit philosophical on a tuesday morning)

On the new Operator - I am absolutely in love with everything about it! Now if there was some way to automate the waveform partials!

ARGH, this is torture. Cant wait for the updated Operator!!

Can anyone tell me if it got adjustable slopes in the ABCD sections as well, and not just in the Pitch, LFO and Filter sections? (dont see why they wouldnt add that if thats the case?)

No, there aren't adjustable slopes for the operators.

Also worth mentioning are the new filter types.

The SVF Filter can really resonate like a moog filter. What does SVF stand for anyways?
