During my dj sets recently ableton live (7.1)has dumped the sound on more than one occasion to the point where I have had to restart the software to get it going..........the level out puts led are still showing on both of my channels and also on the master output, but there is no sound coming out of the speakers...................I have tried the lateset drivers but still to no avail any one got any ideas to what the problem might be here...

You've eliminated your soundcard as the culprit?

Update to 7.0.14 and see if the problem is still there.

i've experienced this exact same problem and the culprit was an m-audio fast track pro not the software.

basically audio just cuts out (sometimes with a loud pop) but live just keeps playing as if nothing is wrong and it doesn't come up with an error message saying it has lost contact with the soundcard....is this whats happening to you?
i've only heard of a few people with this problem.

i got my card replaced after i gave a very detailed error report to m-audio. the new one doesn't seem to do it but i dont use it anywhere near as much as i used to (i bought it for gigs)

what type of computer and os do you have?

i'd head over to the m-audio forum
