I'm getting there! I think Max for Live will make me go Chrome Dome.

Lol at finding this old thread. I was looking for that splash screen of the bald laptop musicians.

I guess it's a common feature for live users :)
I'm 20 and also going to be bald in a while. Maybe long hair is reserved for rockers or hippies.
I'll join this club :(

There's a Dutch proverb: Hair doesn't grow on brains. If you look at old rockers, they're all hairy, but, all they have to know is: The cable from the guitar goes to the hole marked "in" on the amp, all volume knobs set to "10" off you go.

Compare that to a brainy techno wizard like the revered Mr R. Henke who very obviously has a big brain, well there you have it.

Mine's fading too! :D

I got sick of my relentlessly shitty hairdo's and unsympathetic hairdressers so I bought myself a hat and wore it all last year. Now I'm receding like a mofo. Not sure if the two are related, but I've stopped wearing the hat just in case.

I can just tell I'm gonna be one of those bald guys with an unfeasibly shiny head 8O

I got crazy thick hair- great. not likely to go bald, and I'm 33. On the other hand, I have one solid eyebrow...well, can't get everything I suppose!

I don't know if it's because I was into Iron Maiden and Motorhead as a teenager, although I never could grow my hair long as it is curly (and used to be blonde, now a mousy brown) and the Dee Snider Twisted Sister look was not for me !!!

However, at 38 my hair is fine. I am not saying anything else because any number of events or stresses can change this in anyone. Started to get a few grey hairs for the first time last year. Anyway, chicks dig bald guys (so long as they don't do a Bobby Charlton combover !!) so what's the problem !!

Yay for thread necromancy!

Turns out I really am more of my mother's son than my dad's... Hairline still approximately where it was 4 1/2 years ago. In case anyone was wondering.
Suit #1: I mean, have you got any insight as to why a bright boy like this would jeopardize the lives of millions?
Suit #2: No, sir, he says he does this sort of thing for fun.

I have been bald since like 20 and even then I remember others going bald before me so it can strike at any age. A clean shaved head is best, hygenic and looks great.
It's been so long since I had hair I would feel ridiculous with it, and many blokes with full haeds of hair do look ridiculous. It's never stopped me with the ladies either  If I were to grow what's left out there would be maybe an inch round the base of the skull :P

So no bald and proud and don't miss it, I think the fear is in those who go bald later in life. I work with a bloke in his 50's who has the classic sweep over and is in complete denial of it.
Ahh Bisto
