To all you software designers out there, not just ableton, but the synth and effects designers.. SLow it down a little and let us use your product before our computers become outdated!!!

I love Live because of its simplicity and structure, it is one of the best designed programs i have ever used.. I just started using MAX/ MSP and love that even more..

keep it simple !! please!!

Yeah man, sometimes the options get just OVERWHELMING. Sometimes I wish I could just take my laptop with a bunch of software on it to a deserted island, and just get deep into what I have.

but you can do it without going to a desert island ! you just have to let yourself go with a few apps you love and stop answering to the commercial purpose that all those companies want us to buy...
but also you won't change your computer because if you upgrade it, you'll need the softs that go with it...
so : if you computer runs well, don't change your configuration untill you like it... then stop and make music

music is not about having the last soft !

Yeah I'm at the point where I just want all my plugs and apps stable, then I'm digging in.....
Two groups I like use Atari's for sequencing for christ's sake!

I too, spend too much time playing around with all softtware, synth after synth - not enough actually producing anything.,..... lol.. most of my tracks turn out to be like experiments or even better showcases of the latest plugin that i got
