Yeah: wow!

Sound: massive.
Balloons: magic.
Funny: audience didn't quite know whether to applaud between the tracks or not.

It was inspirational!

Afterwards, I went to this: http://amaze-festival.de/about/a-maze-j ... nus-cheat/ - which was nuts.

sound massive?

i am impressed did they finally treated that shithole to let the function one system shine...? it was horrible before, they installed the best soundsystem there is and the hall was shaking and rattling like a hamster kaefig playing jingle bells...

Yeah, wow, that blew my mind.
Amazing stuff.
Coolest automated-balloon-and-music show I've been to all week, hands down.

8O, thanks for the 60 second blind date :D

And hello to whichever of the Abe software engineers I accosted outside of Ostbahnhof.

Definitely hope to meet again, perhaps in an environment more conducive to dialogue

And as far as the sound goes, I don't have any previous Berghain experiences to compare to, but I didn't notice any wayward shaking.

nice to hear, seems they fixed it. it was a disgrace before.

still the whole place to me is a filthy spot.

but however, really sad i missed the show, i totally believe it was wicked.
it's not roberts fault that there are more or less only shit spaces in this town.
i have a major problem finding a location again that meets my standards...
i used to have my own place and created it myself, so my level of standards is very high. but i gave up and have to accept the situation, if i want to make parties again... or create again my own...

yeah but it's about everything... the whole well being. sound, comfort, not after piss stinking loos... a good bar with more than jagermeister and warm piss beer and friendly staff, the list goes on and on...

if anyone is in doubt about my words, just go to the myspace site in my signiture and ask ANY of the artists who ever played at soniclab... what there experience was 8) they are listed... :!:

just to clarify... i don't want to come across as the guy who is always complaining / ranting... but the fact that i had the possibilty to create a place with such high standards in a shitty little town / country and then i come back to my birthplace and the major city of germany and spot so many times considered being the mecca of dancemusic and you see (i can compare) this mediocre shit, it really makes me.... 8O shocked and wondering... that's all.

i admit that it maybe screwed me... then again why going any lower...???

Jam Sessions

Post by grav » Sat Jan 31, 2009 4:10 pm

Hey Folks! Are there any "electronic jam sessions" in Berlin? I've been to jazz jams and pop/rock jams, but it could be fun with something more experimental and with room for a lot of computer noise.

I've found CUE, http://cueberlin.blogspot.com/ which looks interesting - has anyone been to a CUE session?

Regards,
