i saved some grooves taken from breaks into the groove folder
when i right click and click manage file
i get an instant crash every time
i've sent off the crash logs to ableton
but can anyone else confirm this is happening to them?

Confirmed on Mac's as well.
I won't bother sending my crash log (as emef has already sent one), but I've kept a copy so let me know if you need it.

The Beta 5 release notes say this has been fixed. It has kind of, in that manage files is no longer an option when you click on a groove file. Is that correct?

Yes it is, there is nothing to manage in a groove file, no media attached to it.
