Three channels EQ

Post by inakiesarte » Fri Jan 30, 2009 5:50 pm

Hi guys, I have been djing for a while as since I discovered Ableton I cant stop using it. Now i am working on a live set, mixing and beat matching ableton stuff with my other mixer with two decks.

My question is:

Is there any way to limit the values from your EQ to -6, as the pioneer 600 or any professional mixer does, so it doesnt take out your sound completly?

It will be usefull once u link ur control knobs to the ones on the EQ.

Thanks!

Depending on your controller you may be able to shrink the range of the knob to suit.

In MIDI assign mode, assign software EQs to hardware EQs and in the midi map menu on the left of the screen, there are values directly to the right of the assignments, they can be adjusted from -69 to +6 basically making it possible to emulate any mixer ever !! Hope that helps

Now does anyone have a list of popular mixers and there settings ??
