Nice! Ableton 8 and NEW UPGRADES!!!

Nice to know that live8 is coming. Just purchased live 7 and it was too buggy with my M-audio1814. So have to do my work with live 6. Well 8 offers nothing new that i would benefit expect Max - integration. Gonna wait another year before updating just to make sure i dont have to pay another 179e for nothing.

what problems did u have with 7? cuz im about to upgrade cuz I need to get drum racks (either that or just buy motu bpm and dump ableton after a while). Reason I ask because Im also purchasing the firewire 1410. so I dont wanna have issues.

take care

Ableton freezes and play, stop, rec funtktions dont work. Also u cant rec-able a track. Dont go m-audio that sucks. and dont upgrade. Drum racks..well if u really need it u can upgrade. I would like to have stable setup. Thats all.

well its one or the other, drum racks or bpm (which knowing my lazy ass, id get used to it, and cut out ableton completely cuz i like doin everything in one program like a numbnuts, and i know its also a plugin, but its too much for my system).

I think Ill take my chances with Live 7 tho, cuz drum racks shits on everything else imo.

and its more my style production. so lets keep them fingers crossed. lol

Have you tried simply not using the FW1814? Most people (myself included) have had horrible experiences with M-Audio drivers, particularly their FW.
